Today we had a very busy day! This morning we walked to the bus station to get tickets for our trip to Cadiz tomorrow. We also got tickets for a bus tour of Seville, so that we could see the posts of the city that are farther from our apartment.
On the way to the bus station, we passed through the Jardines del Prado de San Sebastian.
The bus tour of Seville took us through six neighborhoods, Expo 29, Triana, Expo 92, Macarena, Central and Arenal. Our time so far has been spent mostly in the historic centre, Santa Cruz, so it was nice to see some more of the city.
The Expo 29 area is around Parque Maria Luisa, where the Ibero-American Exposition took place in 1929. There are buildings erected by the various participating countries. We returned here after the bus tour to rent bikes and explore the park further.

Certainly the most impressive building in the park is in the Plaza de España.

We continued our bike tour along the Canal is Alfonso XIII.
However we did not last long on the un-shaded path along the water... It is very hot in Seville!
We returned our bikes, then walked back to Santa Cruz for some tapas for dinner. Afterwards, we went to a flamenco show! The show was great, it took place in a small theater, so we were only one row away from the performers. The atmosphere was very intense, and very enjoyable!
Tomorrow we are headed to Cadiz for the day, then to Cordoba the following day!
