Day 11: Bordeaux and Seville

This morning we left the Bassin d'Arcachon and headed to Bordeaux where we were set to catch our flight to Seville. We left a little bit early so we could spend part of the morning and afternoon walking around Bordeaux for our last day in France with Cynthia and Wary.

Then we made it Seville! We took the bus from the airport into town and actually ended up missing our first stop, but we only had to walk a few more minutes and it took us right through the middle of the historical Santa Cruz district. As soon as we landed we realized just how hot it was... a lot warmer than we expected (about 30-35 degrees Celsius during the day!)

The rooftop terrace of the apartment building we're staying in has a pool... Unfortunately it's empty at the moment :(

That evening all the stores were closed, so we thought it was a great opportunity to try the famous Spanish "tapas" which literally means appetizers or snacks. Because the portions are snack size, you can order a bunch of different things and try all the awesome food.

After dinner we went out again to walk around the city when it was all lit up.
